briggs vs rahman needs to happen , even 20 years past its prime this fight makes sense. One can't KO a guy that has 4 professional fights on his name, the other can't KO a guy cause he has no stamina.
Rahman at this stage would be insane to fight Briggs. His immobility would put him right in Briggs wheelhouse. Rock should follow Holyfield and hang his hat on the wars he had with Maskaev, Sanders, Lewis, Holy, Ruiz and Wlad. He fought ALL the best. Yeah, he didnt always train proper, but alot of that had to with his confidence in his natural ability......now that his knees are gone, the torque is out of his shots and it's ALL over. :good:good:good
i like this, someone that is watching the Rock after all these years. I thought i was the only one man. I agree though Briggs would KILL him even thoguh they are same age
That makes it even more pathetic. Briggs styles himself as this fearsome destroyer that would kayo every champ if given an opportunity, yet he can't take out Love? Sure he only has one stoppage loss but look at the KO percentages of the scrubs he lost to: Basile 40%, Pudar 50%, Aurieng 20%, Andreesen 43%. Just look at footage of Love. For a guy as big and strong and supposedly bad ass - to say nothing of being the 'elephant in the room avoided contender' he loves trumpeting himself as being - as Briggs, to drop this clown twice and not finish him over twelve is embarrassing. :fy
Oh my, yes, look at all that "running"...or, you know, standing right in front of Briggs as the asthmatic old windbag tees off at will.
Right now, Briggs KOs Rahman in 1 rd for sure. Nansen beat Rahman yet he lost to 0-10 opponent in his previous fight. Rock is the most 'shot' fighter in boxing now. Prime for prime I'd favor Rahman though, it would be a war.
I wonder what Darnoll Wilson or Sedreck Fields level guy is going to upset the apple cart for the seventh time, followed by more excuses and more "rebuilding".
I dont think Ive ever gotten involved in the dozens of threads on this site claiming this fighter or that fighter is on roids, because its usually just fanboys hating other fanboys fighter. But seriously, is there a more likely fighter on roids out there than Briggs??
Looks like the ref could have stopped it a couple times and would have been completely justified in doing so.
