The idea of Briggs having a "puncher's chance" against Wlad just because Wlad has some early career stoppage losses and Briggs used to be a feared puncher two decades ago is a joke.

 

Always liked Briggs and I do enjoy the 1 round ko tour he goes on every few years. Petranyi might just get added to Brigg's list.

I don't know if Briggs is ever going to get a shot at Wlad but staying busy should help his cause but obviously he might need to beat someone partially relevant, which he isn't going to try to do.

He might be onto something. Wright is the WBC Latino champ and Briggs is the interim WBC Latino champ so Briggs-Wright could be on the horizon.

 

Jennings has no chance and at least the lead up to the fight will be interesting with Briggs

So they can go and do a WWE angle for laughs in between training camps.

Jennings is better for Wlad's resume than Briggs (even with the latter being a onetime lineal champ) and more of a threat, even as no threat at all.
