Thats what he said on his facebook, but didn't say against who.

    He said...

"So this is the deal... I fight Dec.3rd"
"The fight is at the Hammerstein Ballroom on 34th NYC."
"Come to my fight and watch me decapitate someone. Bring a raincoat. It's going to be a bloody night for some poor soul."

He's scheduled loads of comeback bouts but none of the ever happened. I'll believe this one when I see it.

Apparently it's true, on untelevised undercard of Williams-Martinez (according to Rafael)

    His asthma's gotten better?

That must mean that he's out of money.

    Nice highlight.

Briggs is dangerous for 1-2 rounds that's about it.He's also slow as a snail.

rounds with lennox lewis with a broken hand. It was 12 rounds with George ( I had my fights mixed up) Yes, he may have lost that fight but 1-2 rounds? Wait till you see how his new training has improved his stamina. This is going to be a truley magnificent

Hey ask Shannon if he remembers a guy named Ronnie Stella that he fought in the amateurs?

Lennox Lewis stopped Briggs in 5 rounds. Great fight though, one of Briggs' best showings even if he lost in the end. Showed a lot of courage.

But let's face it. At 265 lbs, Briggs is way too slow to make for an exciting fight. Against Liakhovic and Ibragimov he threw like 20 punches a round. While his hands are still very fast, he plods like his feet are stuck in concrete. At 220-230lbs, he was way more exciting to watch. And a better fighter, too.

    :rofl

    Lewis stopped him in 5.

Anyway that was like 15 years ago.In his last few outings which were 2-3 years ago he was slow as a snail with no stamian nad puch output.
He shouldn't be fighting. He's good for 1-2 rounds.

Briggs is a bum!! The guy needs to retire. Who cares about him. He could punch, but he always got knocked out when he stepped up.

Do you say this in every fight forum? "Briggs is a bum" That is getting old...and don't play off THAT comment saying something like "So is Briggs"

Face it, He is back, in great shape and much faster than most of you are going to remember. The proof is in the punches- Dec 3rd.

    And @ Ted, will do.
