If we're talking Briggs' resume (since 2000) yeah it's a disgrace, but to say sergei is a "one hit wonder" is way off base. first, he's only 32 and he'll still make some noise. he's put on a few good performances and he is/was a legit guy in this shitty division. he was shutting down briggs too until briggs cashed in his lottery ticket. briggs is strictly a mediocre businessman with a big punch who tries to market himself into unearned paydays.

 

Yeah Briggs resume the last 10 years is nothing to brag about, and keep in mind Lyakhovich outboxed him easily until he got foolish and started to trade with Briggs. Lyakhovich gave that fight away.

And his 'win' over old Mercer... one of the worst stoppages I've seen. Mercer was in that fight and got his jab going while Briggs started to get tired, then Briggs just pushed the much smaller Mercer against the ropes, held him and put him down with two consecutive rabbit punches to the back of the head, while the ref just stood by and didn't do ****.. disgraceful

 

How did Wlad get manraped by Sam Peter and still get the decision is the real question.

 

I actually cut myself in his fight with ibgragimov. so ****in boring.

 

Wladimir was beating Peter in between the knockdowns, he clearly won that fight even with the 3 knockdowns.
