My prediction ... Briggs will win the fight by hitting his opponent over the head with a folding chair while the ref isn't looking because he's distracted by something happening on the other corner.

Yet people are still talking about Parker vs Takam as an "oh and this is also happening this weekend" secondary to the Haye and Briggs card. Sad days.

Briggs is still dangerous......but he's a shell of his former self. He only has his power that he has to rely on dice his speed and reflexes are gone. He absolutely talked his way into a big fight. But he made smart opponent selections after losing. Briggs has 6 losses.....all to great fighters. But Haye should retire Briggs.

I still argue that Briggs has never beaten anyone decent. So if he hasn't in his prime, why would he do so now?

Briggs is freakshow entertainment. Haye is a has-been boxing nobodies. A match made in heaven.

what's Haye's problem? Why is he fighting all these no-hoper cab drivers?

Does he really need a winning streak over cab drivers to make himself look good?

Briggs and Haye have clearly opted to just try and make as much money as possible by winding up casual fans - and it's working. Minimal risk, maximum profit.

Considering how often Briggs and Haye are coming up in this forum when you have real fights happening which are hardly mentioned gives a pretty good idea of what kind of ratio of casual vs serious boxing fans make up this forum

I think this is the funniest bait-and-switch ever. Dimitrenko denied any knowledge of the fight weeks after they started promoting it.

Should've known BRIGGS... was just gonna end up "fighting" yet another BUM.

Was wondering if he could even beat Dimitrenko, especially at this stage.
