Because the challengers don't bring anything to the table.

No wonder Briggs fought like that. The mothafugga didn't even look like he trained for the fight. What a joke

Last I checked it was $700,000. Briggs said he was treated fairly. The complaints are from Haye fans who are in denial about their cowardly fake hero who will get knocked out if he fights a Klitschkos which he never will.

I thought Briggs at least got a good payday for that beating, and now I see that he got little. After taxes and fees, that leaves nothing. I guess Valuev and them had a point about the Klits. How much did Vit take home, anyone know?

Listen ******, you're clearly a Klits hater. You're a ****** that makes ******ed predictions that don't come close to reality. If Briggs make 500k then thats fair considering Briggs hasn't really done anything for the last 3 years except beating bums left and right. If Briggs hasn't complain about the money he got then WHATS THE POINT IN THIS F4CKING THREAD????

I dont understand it. Sosnowski got 1 million euro, that is more than double what Briggs got. Doesnt make sense.

In the recent interview with Tomasz Adamek he said that the Klitschko's are not offering good money. For someone like Solis it would be a career payday, multiple times what they normally get. Adamek gets paid 300-500k fighting Maddalone.

You can't compare the late 80's until mid to late 90's with this era when it comes to payment. HW boxers were getting paid much better then because of the lucrative tv deals and such. When was the last time you heard a HW getting $20M+ for a bout?

But I agree $500K is quite low, I expected him to get between $750K and $1M

Can we get a source on this please ?
If its accurate i don't really see the problem anyway ... Shannon fought noone of interest lately so.
Atleast Sosnowski earned it by capturing the Euro title.

Vitali also offered Valuev a career high pay day the first time around so its not like they habitually lowball people.
Either way when it comes to Haye it does not matter, if he wont accept a 50/50 no option split he just doesn't want to fight.
