    Briggs is less of a no hoper than most of the HW division. And more of a name, even to this day. What's wrong with him getting a shot as compared to all the other stiffs that line up for it?

    Sure Briggs only wants the payday, but he's gotta realize the Klithckos will only give it to him if he earns it. He's not gonna get it out of a fight with Maddalone.

    You never know with Ol' Briggs............... HBO has already let it be known that they have tired of both K-brothers' recent opponents........ Not that either K-bro is trippin' out about that here in 2010........... The K-bros. are now filthy rich...........

    Shannon Briggs is a good opponent to utilize, if you are looking to fight on HBO and on American soil.........

    Well, two things here:

    1.) Briggs' stamina does suck, but it ain't that bad............. He can still go 12 slow rds at 270 friggin' pounds.........

    2.) NOW! 270 friggin' pounds is TOO MUCH! Also, Briggs will never again dip below 255 pounds in the ring, but 255 SHOULD be his target weight here in 2010..............

    Briggs is ranked by BOX REC at 75th in the world....which i think is fair....since his loss to barney rubble, his last 4 opponents have a combined 47 losses......so before he even breathes the name Klitschko....he might want to at least fight a top 25 guy

    Ratings really don't mean **** anymore.......... Did they ever??? Contenders and Pretenders get title shots these nights simply with personality and character....... Being able to actually box / fight has become not so important in marketing a fighter in the public's eye........ SAD!!

    In truth, even in Briggs' prime, Briggs never did any one particular thing in the ring that was all that great, except for showing huge punching power against bums, stiffs and tomato cans........

    In reality, Briggs only has ONE real KO victory over a highly rated fighter.... That being over the hyped WBO chump Sergei Liakhovich in 2006 out in Arizona.......
