Shannon Briggs ONLY wants a K-brother for the payday.......

I may take some flack for this, but since I have a soft spot for Briggs, I would love to see him in against Tua, Arreola, Peter, Valuev, or Solis. I like seeing two huge, strong guys wail on each other.

 

One more big payday is probably the motivation behind most of those older fighters who calll them out.




To be fair to Briggs, he does have KO power, even as late as the last round, out of gas or not. Liakhovitch can attest to that.

But as he is, Briggs needs to beat someone at least somewhat credible, if not two, before he'd be an interesting opponent.

Tua vs Briggs would be interesting, as would Arreola or Peter vs Briggs.

 

How much could Briggs take home from a fight with Wlad at MSG? He still has a big name in NY and there could be some good cash to grab for both Briggs and Wlad if a fight between the two of them was made there.

 

Tua - Briggs is a fight that should be made. At least we can decide if one of them is serious about a career.

 

Shannon might be the most dangerous first-round man in the entire sport. I think he even has the record for most first-round knockouts at for a heavyweight champion. Although many of them are of the Tyrone Brunson ilk.

 

Briggs vs Tua would be a good slug fest I wouldnt mind seeing that as an eliminator fight.

 

I would give Briggs a hell of a good chance of beating Wlad. I don't think Wlad could handle someone that big charging him even if it is for just a few rounds. If briggs hits Wlad on that weak chin its over.

 

Who the hell said anything about Tua. We want to see Briggs hit Wlad on the weak ass chin.
