Don't backtrack. You picked Shannon Briggs ... let me repeat that ... SHANNON BRIGGS to stop Deontay Wilder by "SAVAGE KO."

    You're high.

Nothing in either man's resume would lead any sane person to that conclusion.

On the contrary, looking at their resumes and their careers as they unfolded ... a SANE PERSON would come to the OPPOSITE view.

    Wilder by KO.

Briggs was KOed by lesser people. Briggs was decisioned by lesser people. Briggs never achieved as much in his career ... even with the aid of PEDs ... which he's tested positive for throughout his career at various times.

There are plenty of people that you could say ... in his prime ... 'this guy' beats Wilder.

But NONE of those guys are Shannon Briggs.

    You're an idiot.

Yes I did pick him to win you dense ****. Your point? I also highlighted scenarios where Wilder could potentially win, something you refuse to even entertain for Briggs.

"Nothing in either man's resume would lead any sane person to that conclusion."

Except all of the points that you choose to ignore and avoid responding to, only to repeat yourself over and ****ing over again..

You watched Briggs on his way up? That would make you at the very least in your late 30s-early 40s. How does it feel to have the debating ability of someone in middle school?

Carry on being dense and stubborn as a rock.

My point is you picked Briggs to score a savage KO over Wilder ... so you're an idiot.

Wilder struggled before destroying someone... so Briggs therefore scores an early savage KO in your mind? Because Briggs savagely KOed so many top fighters?

Middle-schoolers don't make such ridiculous leaps.

    F*ck off moron.

Except I backed up my reasoning, responded to your points(something you outright refused to do with me and others in this thread) Do you have any idea how debates or discussions work? Clearly not.

Yes. I do. And you lost it with your first post picking Briggs by SAVAGE KO.

Briggs so called prime didn't last very long. The last time Briggs was in good shape was 2001 against Russell Chasteen. Then he just got bigger and bigger and worse and worse.

You saw Briggs was knocked out by lesser fighters? Well he was only knocked out 2 times. But undefeated prospect Daryl Wilson and hall of famer Lennox Lewis. Briggs did show he could take a punch against Vitali though.

Does this mean Briggs would stop Wilder? No but he could stop Wilder early. The Briggs who fought Lewis could stop Wilder if he jumped on him early. If he doesn't get Wilder early he would probably lose.

Shannon Briggs landed one good left hook on Lennox Lewis in the first round that made Jim Lampley yell ... and then Lewis pummelled Briggs, floored him three times and stopped him in five.

Based on a single punch that momentarily hurt Lewis, Briggs SAVAGELY KOS Wilder? People seem to be leaving out Briggs getting destroyed after landing his one hard punch.

People land on Wilder and hurt him, then Wilder savagely KOs them.

People (like Darroll Wilson or Jameel McCline) land on Briggs and hurt him, and Briggs gets KOed or goes into a shell and loses the decision.

One guy (Briggs) suffers an injury in a fight, and he stops fighting and hopes to last the distance. Wilder gets injured in a fight, and he boxes to a decision win or he scores a KO.

One guy (Briggs) knows he can't compete so he abuses PEDs and gets caught over and over and over again. One guy knows he CAN compete and doesn't take PEDs.

One guy is a winner (Wilder). One guy isn't (Briggs).

No version of Briggs beats Wilder. Sorry. Don't see it. Especially not based on Briggs' one-sided beatdown loss to Lewis where Briggs landed maybe three hard punches the whole fight before getting wiped out in five.

Its hard to pick a Briggs type guy over a defending champ who has never come close to being defeated. Unknown at this juncture.
I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder is holding back his best until he had his toughest test in front of him.
He's shown he can box well enough when he fought Stiverne with a dodgy hand.

Are you ******ed? Did I say one punch against Lewis means Briggs could savagely knock out Wilder? I said Briggs had power and a good chin and could knock out Wilder if he catches him.

Briggs losing to Lewis is still better than anything Wilder has done with his career so car.
