I think the chances of Briggs getting a shot at Klitschko are getting better and better. That out of court arrangement is becoming mroe clear now that Briggs is ranked by the IBF and WBO he could be in line to face him after Klitschko smashes Sultan. This should raise some eyebrowes Briggs was not even ranked by the IBF while he was holding the WBO strap.
briggs is a great character but he would have to win a belt to become a legit opponent. only chance for that is to go the wba route. he will always be a dangerous opponent but if can't let his hands go anymore, he should hang it up

I would also like to note that Briggs getting a shot is not far off. Think about it Klitschko and is people settled out of court because they backed out of fighting Briggs the first time around. If that wasnt true they wouldnt have settled the case. The settlement probably entails Briggs fighting one fight then getting ranked highly by the IBF(already being #12 that shouldnt be hard to move up). This would then line Briggs up for his shot at the unfied crown which looks ever more possible considering Briggs has just re-appeared after the settlement.
