True - this is what really bugs me about boxing ... fighters who are inactive for extended periods then expect the world based on deeds in the past. An exception is a great champion who has paid his dues and deserves time off between selective fights ... Briggs isn't one of these guys tho.

Maybe he should fight Gomez - he's another one who does nothing for extended periods.
