Briggs attempts of talking himself into a (completely undeserved) title shot reeks of personal money problems. He probably is completely broke and this is his last chance to get his hands on a 6 figure paycheck.

Why this moron doesn't simply get in line and become a mandatory in one of the ABC belts is beyond me. Probably too lazy.

Now you know that if Briggs win on Friday, that talk will start again....Briggs can win via KO..Briggs is the only HW that can go toe to toe with...Briggs is a killer...blah blah blah...name the last big fight that he has won??? HOw about if he wins, and if The Rock wins next week, the do the dance..that way one can say they beat a Name fighter.

    1) He is lazy

    2) He is enough of a narcissist to think he deserves a title shot straight away.

    3) At this stage he would probably lose any fights to become a mandatory.

Question: Why do you all still bother bringing threads of this irrelevant clown up?

This is a typical example of wishful thinking.

Briggs is probably just upset 'coz Wlad didn't give him an autograph at a book signing. It's so unfair, especially since his friend Candy got one.

Wlad would probably have loved to fight Briggs in a WBO/IBF unification but Briggs was too unable to win against Iggy, now if Iggy was able to beat him up what would Wlad have done with him?

I love all the Briggs haters around here. Briggs has had his ups and downs but he has accomplished alot.

Yep - accomplished, past tense. People tell us Tua faithful that we're living in the past, and there are folks supporting the idea of Briggs getting a crack at one of the Klitschkos!

Briggs, would be a better opponent than most of the no-hopers the Klits especially Wlad has fought. Wlad gave Rahman a shot how about Briggs.

While Rahman was definitely a poor contender, Briggs would not be much better.

Chagaev, Brock, Thompson, and Chambers (and soon, perhaps Povetkin) are all much worthier contenders than Briggs.

Crap title defenses like Rahman and Brewster have been the exception for Wlad, not the rule.

Absolutely. You're talking about a professional boxer who literally cannot walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded. You have asthema, fine. Don't use it as an excuse and don't pretend like you were ever more than a minor contender who got lucky an won a fight....For God's sake, he never ever had 1 successful defense.

Sorry. Your point is that Briggs is a bit better than the weakest fighter that Wlad has fought in his tile reign...therefore, he deserves a shot?
