Shannon Briggs Says Wladimir Klitschko Ducked Him in 2006

Although i hate briggs' tactics of beating c and d level hw's and talking his way into fights, wlad has fought less deserving opponents that didn't have any belts so i tend to believe that wlad would have preferred to avoid briggs at any relevant time because of the whole risk/reward scenario written about by another poster. That kind of thinking is annoying to fans as well. I want to see the Klits have some decent challenges and besides Maybe Haye, tua, and povetking, briggs might have been one of the better challenges over the past few years cuz of his power, relatively quick hands, and size. so that fight would have been much more preferable than just about any of the klits opponents in the past few years

 

shannon briggs falls into the no risk/zero reward category for wlad... would like to see the shannon thrown in vs helenius tho:deal

 

and i guess wlad hugging sultan for 12 rounds straight while hitting him with a pitter patter jab is supposed to strike fear in a mans heart:-(
