Shannon Briggs to Fight in MMA

Whatever happened to the rumor of Kermit Cintron going the way of MMA?

 

i'd be interested in that. he has good power and in 4/5oz gloves he'll be devastating. plus, he was offered a wrestling scholarship when he was in college.

remember when floyd offered the ufc out. white said fight sherk, floyd didn't but cintron said he'd do it.

 

Thats kinda what I remember and I thought he was actually training for MMA also, but I coul dbe mistaken. I'd love to see Cintron make the crossover I think with his wrestling background he could be a force.

 

He'd already have the sprawl which would be great. I think he may be able to do better at 155 in UFC or Strikeforce then what he can do in boxing at present.
