Cud well do. Coldwell and have have a good relationship. But if it does Allen will need to improve a lot on his last performance. I agree with above briggs will b dangerous for 3-4 rounds.
Poor Cornish! I guess it will put some perspective on the Joshua hype train if old man Briggs destroys The Highlander as quickly or even more emphatically than AJ. Which is very possible in all honesty.
I'd quite like to see Cornish in there for further perspective on the AJ win. It'd also be funny to see Briggs be the one handing out a payday for once.
I don't see Brigg taking on Allen - too risky when he is just trying to talk his way into a big payday.
Can't see anything being learnt by watching Cornish "fight" again. His performance was so much worse than Charles Martin's and he wanted the fight even less. Appreciate that Martin is getting stuck because he basically threw his belt at AJ and ran but Cornish was embarrassing.
I think The Cannon would knock Cornish out cold inside a round .... as opposed to his effort vs AJ where he rose on 9 and faked a feeble stumble having already nodded to his corner when on his knee after being pushed to the floor in an ill executed clinch. It was a disgraceful performance but I give him less blame than Martin as he is not even a full time boxer.
So you don't think he'd give it the old college try against Briggs? Even considering he'll know he can't go longer than four rounds?
this is one of the worst posts i have read in ages, anyone who knows anything about boxing saw that cornish's challenge was over the second he walked onto that 1st right hand. his legs never recovered and it was only a matter of time before he was finished wether he made that count or not :good cornish had never tasted defeat amateur or professional before that fight so imo he wouldn't be looking to just throw that all away for a payday, at the end of the day he wasn't good enough, will probably never be good enough for anthony joshua and his management are most to blame by not getting him the correct fights before he stepped up :good:good once again tommy gilmour take a bow for building a fighter on fighting nobodies and then throwing them to the wolves for your % of a decent purse :good:good what has shannon briggs done since his humiliation to klitschko to think he can do a demolition job on cornish anyway:huh:huh
