Shannon Briggs-Vitali Klitschko fight should have NEVER been SANCTIONED

You seem like the right person to ask this. Briggs made 500,000 U.S. dollars for his fight. How much of that does he pocket after paying Federal income tax and his team (who almost got him killed)?

Being a Florida resident would exempt him from state income tax but he may have also had to pay some taxes to the host German government. Did not mean to hijack the thread. I was always curious what percentage of a purse a fighter keeps after it is all said and done?

 

One thing your post omits is whom else was VK to fight? In reality almost no one in the heavyweight division deserves a title shot right except maybe Adamek and Povetkin and neither is interested in getting into the ring right now with either Klit.

You might not like who they are fighting, but at least they are fighting.
