Briggs would certainly have the better of things early and may well stop Mason. Mason had a solid chin, though, so him being stopped early is no foregone conclusion. If he made it through the first 5 rounds and his eye held up, he's a heavy handed puncher for someone with Briggs poor stamina to go deep into the fight against.
