Shannon Briggs vs Hughie Fury rumoured on Klitschko-Tyson undercard

    Peter Fury told today that the fight vs Wilder is most unlikely to happen. Peter wants his son to fight Shannon Briggs on the undercard of the Wladimir Klitschko - Tyson Fury bout.

    "It would be a massive fight for both men. Briggs could get in the picture for a fight for the heavyweight championship, while Hughie could beat a former heavyweight champion and gain some exposure".

    Could be a good fight, but Peter Fury has also tried to get Vitali into the ring to fight his son. Hughie is only 20 years old but Peter does believe that he is the most talented boxer on the planet.

    Hughie normally outboxes Briggs, but you never know what a right hand from the Cannon can do. Rooting for Briggs on this one.

    Agree with this. Don't think it will ever happen, though. Briggsis going to keep fighting cans unless or until he can get a cash out fight.

    Hughie just needs to circle, and flick out a jab to win this.. Briggs is so slow and predictable these days.

    Shannon Briggs should not even be fighting.
    He didn't deserve that shot against Vitali years ago, and no man (with a few exceptions) deserves a beating like he received that night.
    Briggs was never much good in the 1990s, nevermind now.
    He could be killed out there.
