Shannon Briggs vs Hughie Fury rumoured on Klitschko-Tyson undercard

I expect well see Briggs in the coming weeks popping up at training camp of both fighters.

This is actually a good fight for both guys if it can be made.

Briggs could also be a backup plan should fury get injured in camp, and Wlad could call on Tony Thompson or even Dimitrenko to fight Hughie if Briggs is needed for the main event.

I had heard a rumour he was going to be fighting Deontay Wilder.

EDIT: Boxrec has him fighting Wilder in September - have I missed something?

 

Not just stupid, really insulting and presumptuous. Why would Vitali come out of retirement for a nobody like Hughie. Would be like Lewis coming out of retirement to fight Gary Cornish.

 

Boy that would have been bad.... OI really like the kid, and think he has a great future but Vitali would beat the fight out of him and probably then some....

 

vitali's corpse easily defeats the whole fury clan, in one day.

 

Briggs is old, but may have enough left to beat Fury, who I think is way overrated.
