    He proved he deserved his shot by knocking White Wolf hell out of his ring.

    Also he was by no means dominated before that KO. Lyachovick had couple of points lead before he lost thats it.

    I don't wish ill against any boxer... Well maybe Mayweather but that doesn't count... But nonetheless I don't want to see Briggs back on the title scene. He was the worst champion in the history of the division, in a division that has had a whole lot of terrible champions...

    Heavyweight boxing has been a joke for far too long now, I want to see it get better, it needs boxers that can make it better, Briggs can't do that.

    Briggs is big and muscular. . .but for some reason he doesn't seem to be in fight shape. His cardio seems toi have lagged behind severely.

    Sigh DudeGuyMan, You make some very valid points and you have always been an encyclopedia of boxing stats and a Freakin novel of opinions but to sit here and convince yourself that Briggs wont make the grade is just plain ignorant. I know you don't know the guy and I know that you may have your favorites (although you said the heavyweight division is crap right now) And I agree with you on that. The division IS crap except for one shining star. Now I know you couldn't possible think by now that I'm unbiased but I see who's fighting, I have eye's and I use them well. Who else is going to take down the Klitch boys? I want a name.

    Tua, Povetkin or Chambers would be the ones most likely to beat a Klit. . .I'll put Haye in that group if he gets past Ruiz.

    I agree he needs to drop some weight still but he is more of a contender than any of the bums the kilts are fighting.
