You can use whatever terminology you want.

If Muhammad Ali had fought a dozen extra fighters with losing records, before he beat Sonny Liston, you are not going to move him down a place for it!

Carnera fought 20 with losing records.
Ali ever have to have a fight fixed for him to win?

If Primo was as good as you say, how come he had to have fights fixed and fight so many no hoper 4th raters?

The difference is Carnera's career was built on these.
Carnera fought Roy Ace Clark 5-11-2 in his 26th fight and had to have the assistance of the mob threatening Clark with a gun to achieve the win.
In his 33rd fight Carnera took on Leon Bombo Chevalier 22-10-4 When Chavalier began bouncing punches off his prognathous chin pepper was rubbed in his eyes by his chief second and the towel was thrown in with Chevalier protesting angrily and trying to strike his cornerman.
    Anything similar ever happen to
    Moore
    Baer
    Mayweather
    Chavez
Pep*Willie took a dive against Lulu Perez but no one had to pay his opponents to lay down!
Several of Carnera's oponents had their purses confiscated and their licences withdrawn that, happen to those fighting the above named?

I've proved Baer fought much better versions of the common opponents he and Carnera shared, this is unarguable. You've produced 3 tomato cans for Baer, there are literally dozens for Carnera!

You doubt Carnera had opponents who were paid to lay down??
Which fights of Tucker's & Briggs do you think were fixed?

Because he was managed by opportunistic sleeze balls.

Despite all of that, he still went on to have a successful career winning high level fights.

Edgar Sosa drove a cab while being the WBC Light Flyweight champion.

Lomachenko lost to an Uber driver.

Patterson's reign is undistinguished and he got flak for it,but nobody is trying to rewrite the history books for Floyd.
Floyd redeemed himself as an ex-champion taking on good contenders and beating them .Once the mob abandoned Carnera his "form" went to **** and ordinary fighters beat up on him.

If the fights were fixed, it could be because his abusive handlers were betting on specific rounds.

It does make you scratch your head. He’s accused of fixed fights for some of his easiest opponents, and yet he wooped some high level fighters. Hmm

Right? Weird that the fights accused of being fixed were against easy touches. Perhaps with Godfrey being the exception.

You doubt that Clark5-11-2 and Chevalier 22-10-4 were coerced threatened , an deliberately injured into losing, is that what you are saying?

Nobody is coming on here and earnestly trying to tell the less gullible of us that Butterbean and Clark were anything more than sideshows, novelty acts
