On On The Grind (which can be heard by clicking boxing radio) Mr. Briggs basically said Sam is scared of him. Who do you think would win this fight?

yeah i pretty much see it that way myself. would be a good fight, but mainly for 4 rounds. if no one is knocked out after 4 rounds it will slow down dramatically. but for 4 rounds i reckon it'd be awesome

This would a rare fight where Sam Peter would have the advantage in mobility, footwork and stamina. Briggs at this point needs to capitalize on mistakes by his opponents, if they move just a little, he loses. If Peter shows up as he did against Makaev or McCline he might get rocked or knocked down, but probably would get up and win the fight.

Briggs is about as shot as a fighter can get. Peter wins easily.

Id say Peter, although frankly I cant stand either of them. Peter is actually relevant within the HW division, so I will go with him.

Peter via KO. Easy pick. Peter has a good chin .Briggs does not. In addition, Briggs stamina is even more suspect.

Peters chin is average. If a guy like McCline can have him in so much trouble Briggs can knock him out. Peter cant put a punch together to save his life. Watching him is like watching a heard of stampeding Buffalo. Theres no cohesion or method to his madness.

It depends who acutally does some roadwork. I can easily see this being a tedious draw.

Peter should watch out for Briggs. He could get stopped. Briggs could make this interesting in a similar way McCline did.

Briggs has got to lose some weight. Peter would beat him easily.

don't forget that Briggs lost to McCline, which makes Peter's victory that more impressive :deal

I would like for both of these men to refrain from participating in professional boxing anymore.

First off, I would like to congratulate you on having the scariest avatar on this site. Absolutely creepy.

Secondly, I disagree w/ you on this fight. Peter is very open for short left hooks (see VK fight) and that just happens to be Briggs best punch, a short, very fast left hook. I think Briggs beats the **** out of Peter, via KO within 3 rounds.
