    It's just a matter of time before Shannon returns to fight in Germany. Don't think you get such a warm welcome & a press conference following a loss anywhere else. It's likely gonna be vs. an upcoming figther in an eliminator / for a regional title fight, and I think the fans will love seeing the Cannon do his stuff again.

    The Germans really took to Briggs because he wasn't an arsehole like David Haye. Everything he was in proposition for the fight was tongue-in-cheek humour rather than nasty stuff like Haye dribbled out of his mouth. That's why they have extended the courtesy towards him, given him a platform to give his thoughts on the fight and his future ambitions.

    Briggs has always came across well in interviews. At this point he could still pick up a couple of good wins if he's matched well

    For a second I got excited, thinking that bicep pic was his wifes tit.


    I respect briggs taking that beating..but I promise you he will be back to talking a bunch of **** once he is back in America and has healed up a bit.

    He really is a colourful personality. Actually he would be great in movies.Along with Jerome LeBanner he has got that menacing and imposing physique which makes him tailor made for playing the bad guy.

    Regarding his career, well Vitaly gave him a beating, but Arreola and Peter got pretty much beaten in similar fashion, so they should retire too? I think he could still beat plenty of guys out there, including Peter fi. Vitaly is just too good for pretty much everyone out there. For a title fight Valuev could probably his best shot.

    But being realistic, at the age of 38 retirement is not too far away, but that has nothing to do with the beating Vitaly gave him.
