Congats to Shannon McMahon for winning the Victorian light middleweight title at the weekend. Well deserved win by a guy already with state & national titles on his CV ........But! Why was Shannon matched up for the title with a guy, born in Qld, with a 10 wins, 33 losses and 2 draws record, who has fought almost exclusively in NSW & NZ?
i dont think you have to be from the state.... i think this has happened before. its boxing mate, nothing is right or wrong.....its all just fuzzy logic.
Could it be that.....suprise suprise they wanted to hand McMahon a State title on a platter! God Help us if he fights someone with a heartbeat!
