    Update:

    Will be brought out of his coma today and taken off all machines. But his mum says " he isnt out of the woods yet".

    Guys there's been an improvement in Shannan's condition, but he still has a long way to go. Fingers crossed he continues to improve. Thoughts are well and truly with his family.

    Apparently he will be kept in an induced coma for a a few more days, just on the side of caution.

    The article in today's paper said he sat up by himself and squeezed the hand of his Mum's friend, but doesn't say anything about him remaining in an induced coma?

    Weird how much conflicting info has been posted about this...

    Yep was going to suggest this earlier in the week but thought it might be a tad insensitive , normally when there is a "bad batch " of **** ( whizz normally ) going around the hospital wards are knee deep with puke and **** with the same case senario , Shannan could be the victim of a failed "off" .
