Why do you assume it mjust be a "need" to believe that some are clean?
There is no evidence that everyone or virtually all are using.
It would be manically naive to assume everyone is clean, that the tests are all wrong....Or that nobody who does not test positive uses or ever did.

Likewise it is insanely cynical & unsupported by evidence that nobody, out of fear of being caught, out iof health concerns, out of a perception that it will not be an advantage, &/or from having high integrity...Nobody is not a liar & drug cheat.

I think you need to believe facts not in evidence.

Fair point and I don't make a habit of pointing the finger at anyone unless as you say they've been caught.
Not sure if you read what I was replying to but it was about someone calling Joshua for PEDs and I was trying to point out that just because the other guy doesn't have the big muscles it doesn't mean he's not using.
Course there will be some that have integrity and fair play to them but I have looked at many facts 're PEDs and I'll try and list a few.
Floyd Mayweather talked about cleaning up the sport,in reality he'd been tested for abnormal testosterone levels on multiple occasions and the illegal drip and it was all buried and hidden.
Many of the top stars in boxing have had run ins with the WBC as they won't subscribe to VADA.
Many fights get made with no drug testing or those that work.
never failing a test according to Lance Armstrong and Marion Jones actually means very little so long as you have a good doctor.
different sport maybe but when Chael Sonnen was caught using in mma he came clean and said PEDs are huge problem at college level so how do you suppose things are at pro level?
final point when 100mtr drug cheats were asked about PEDs none viewed it as cheating,more a levelling of the play field.I respect your opinion but I don't feel the need to vilify anyone or expect my favourite boxers to be clean.

 

Ha I knew you wouldn't let me down lol.One of my gripes with myself is not getting in poetry on account t of being clueless.When you read about Bob Dylan he was well up on it as teenager,French poets like Rimbaud and of course Dylan Thomas.I think was put off by Ginsberg and rather than being shocked at his stuff I just found it dirty,with ********** undertones.
I've since made up for lost time with the bard himself Shakespeare.I've found that the language speaks to me far easier than I expected.Love to get to the roundhouse to see a play.

I like Briggs but what the hell is he still doing fighting. Old and washed up. Great guy though, done well in his career but heck man call it a day.
