The Gypsy king has invited ex champ 47 year old Shannon Briggs to get fit & get on the undercard for fury v wilder II, kind gesture from fury to keep Briggs motivated & sane, FairPlay to fury Briggs says he’s humbled see what happens next only 18 month ago fake roid boy Demi femi wasn’t ruling out fighting Briggs at age what 45/46 then all for gate crashing one the match room bore fests

That's very kind of him and I imagine there's folk who wanna see him even now?I do worry about Briggs though in light of what happened to Stevenson.

If this is all just an overture for him to beat Wilder in a rematch (a man we already know he can outbox across the distance, outside a stray lucky shot) and then make a single title defense against Briggs and then retire, Fury will effectively squander most of the credit & goodwill his comeback has earned him thus far. When you stop and think about it, especially if you are of a mind that Wilder has always been a carefully protected fraud, nothing about this post-Wlad campaign is anything to write home about.

Seferi - blah, didn't even look all that good.
    Pianeta - see above
Wilder I - got dropped, almost KTFO.
Wilder II - so what if he shuts him out, even? All he needs to do is avoid the RH, as he did for 99% of the last match. Wilder can no longer be perceived as some enormous threat stylistically; we know by now that he isn't, to Fury.
    Briggs -

    Seriously, worst high-profile comeback ever.

I think it's a really nice gesture from Fury, who has completely turned his life around, and how he is perceived.

If you thought Briggs was ever going to get a non mandatory enforced shot at Joshua then you must have been totally out of your mind.
