Yes in those two exhibition fights, he looked more coordinated and tight with his boxing than Choi at any point in his pro career.
Why does he want to fight Hong Man? The guy is big but rubbish. I still think Hong Man would beat him though. An old, shot, out of shape DLH tore him up.
Shaq thinks because he is big he can fight anyone and win. Boxing Mosley and Delahoya or anyone under 200 he will probably take the punches, and those guys are not trying to really knock him out no matter what that show makes us believe. Even if they land heavy punches, they always back off after and pitty pat. But if Shaq really fights in a real fight against a real fighter and it is sanctioned, that will be a whole different ball game. He is a legend at basketball no doubt, but his experience will not be enough against a real opponent.
. Whether it's a boxer, kickboxer, muy thai or MMA opponent makes no difference. If they are 6'4, 240lbs and have any sort of experience as a professional then Shaq has as much chance in the fight as the opponent does in 1 on 1 basketball. Shaq would be brutally and quickly destroyed by any journeyman pro-fighter anywhere near him in size. Even a six foot middleweight would just grind him down over a few rounds then knock him out when he was tired. If he insists on doing something as stupid as this then for his own safety he should be put in with somebody who will knock him out fast ather than give him a sustained beating over a number of rounds.
Look shaq get in the ring with the bloke and just do it..Jumping on youtube talking shits easy.. Shaq might be able to throw a decent punch or hit the heavy bag with some force but as anyone who has ACTUALLY fought knows its a whole different story when you are getting smashed in the face/body... I dont think Shaq would like getting hit..Would be a very unnatural thing for him..He has played bball his whole life.Not exactly brutally physical..

The bloke plays basketball for godsake..They get penalised for slightly laying a hand on a player.. As i said before,he has obviously been hitting the pads/heavy bag and its gone to his head.. I would fight him right now and garuntee 2 or 3 low legkicks and his skinny legs and mental toughness would collapse..Only going to be worse if a freak the size of Hong Man hits him.. Hong Man is ordinary but he atleast is used to fighting and is actually a fighter..He may no be on level with Cro Cops and Fedors but he sure as **** would decapitate the SHAQ ATTACK.
