Donaire waits around far too much for me to garner any of the Ray Robinson comparison. He reminds me more of a Roy Jones type. Though Jones might even be faster :admin
Yeah, pressing the action against Donaire is bad. The only real problem I have with him is that he doesn't seem to be too great at creating the openings, but an aggressive guy like Mares will present the openings for him and doesn't really have the punch to threaten Nonito much. A real good, technical pressure fighter who can box and move though, and a tough guy. I wouldn't be totally shocked to see him outdo Donaire, honestly, but definitely should be the underdog. Huge win for either go though.
Yeah, him and Julian Jackson were two very correct punchers. Snappy, high velocity hitters, both of them.
Damn, I was getting irritated because I saw just Shavers and found the need to directly comment. Then I read the second sentence Got me good
Jackson as far a power and skill was one of the best in recent times as far as electrifying power. Bob Foster had a few one punch KO's like that and they both could punch with either hand and devastate.
:good Brutal KO, always worrying how tensed up he got by that punch looked like he got shot by a tazer
