Chillloouuuttt ddduudddee... Maidana is awful. He will be outboxed by Guerrero with ease. Maybe my comment in bold was an exageration but to say that fight proves Khan now has a solid chin is ridiculous when Maidana had him out on his feet in thee 11th?

So Chuvalo was never hit with the perfect shot even though he faced Ali, Frazier, Patterson, and Foreman? SRR, the greatest boxer of all-time, couldn't figure out how to land the perfect shot on Jake LaMotta? No, they just had iron chins, supreme punch resistance, if you will.:patsch

And if you don't think Khan or Judah have glass jaws, you're obviously one of the deniers I called out because these two are Grade A Certified China Chinned Chumps.:hi:

I don't give a rat's ass about guys that are retired, I want guys NOW that possess good jaws and will never get knocked down in the future according to you.

It's rare that a guy is never knocked out let alone never knocked down but there are guys today that, while not quite measuring up to Chuvalo and LaMotta's legendary jaws, do have considerable mandibular fortitude.

    Carl Froch
    Vitali Klitschko
    Brandon Rios
    Marcos Maidana
    Glen Johnson

That's not to say that they'll never be dropped but I guarantee that they won't go down to shots like Khan and Judah have.

Since when is 30-2 and almost universally considered one of the highest-ranked boxers in your weight division IN THE WORLD means a person is an awful boxer? Provide me that logic message board warrior.

Come on you *****. You get challenged on your beliefs and you immediately backtrack, "that's not to say that they'll never be dropped". Grow some balls and stand behind your theory. If any of the above boxers go down once from any punch to any boxer they are per you Grade A Certified China Chinned Chumps, correct? That's what you've made clear in this thread and others from your posts. "Punch resistance is a required measure for success in combat sports" or something like that, right?

It's all relative. I mean he is nothing special... just getting my point across that he is not great and in another era of only one belt would be unlikely to get a title shot...

It's simple logic. From the study of strength of materials in multiple engineering disciplines we know that at some point with a strong enough force every object can and will give, including the most "metal mandible" out there.

I'm sorry, each of these individuals has been severly hurt in fights. Froch got flattened by JERMAINE TAYLOR of all people. Is it your assertion that one has to hit the canvas for their jaw to be considered "glass"?

Aside from Tszyu, Judah's been hurt and continued to fight as has those on YOUR list...:good

Because he can't box for ****. He's a good fighter and a **** boxer and if you've been watching boxing since at least 2006 and you can't tell that a flat-footed brawler with a winging overhand and little else can't box well, you're stupider than I originally thought. And that would really be saying something.

I didn't backtrack, at all, because I never said that getting dropped was an instant sign of a glass jaw, you were just too pigheaded and poor at reading comprehension to understand the point. If you can't keep up with a conversation it's best to stay out, sometimes.

If getting dropped was an automatic send-off to the land of Glass Jawed Frauds, Ali and LaMotta, two of boxing's legendary iron-chinned warriors who embody all that is noble about punch resistance would qualify. Fortunately an intelligent chinchecker with a keen eye can spot knockdowns that single out fighters for Mushy Mandibles, ie when one is knocked down by feather fisted frauds or put into dreamland via a punch that wasn't at all hard.

Frazier's left hook to Ali? Legendary punch that would have floored most human beings and is no indictment on Ali's punch resistance.

Ishida's jab that crumbled Kirkland like stale bread? Feather fisted slap and a clear endorsement for Kirkland to enter the Glass Jaw Hall of Fame.

Try that, you might be able to follow along a bit better.:good
