Potgieter is getting plugged in the gut with Thompson's spring-loaded lead left from outside. Thompson bending his knees and launching himself inside, intent to either land lefts on the body or hold before Potgieter can plod into range and let his hands go. Thompson attacking steadily. The partisan crowd sounds a bit worried. Potgieter turns his back and grabs hold of the top rope while walking into the corner and the ref waves it off!

You called it! Less than a minute later. Not the finest of stoppages, but ...can't turn your back on an opponent, eh?

 

Heck of a clawback there by the Wolf. Through four I was fairly sure he'd be losing this.

Now a 2x national champion.
