Evgeny Tishchenko vs. Williams Ocando 6 rounds @ heavyweight

Round 1: 10-9

After one second you know this is a mismatch, Ocando a natural Cruiserweight fighting a big Heavyweight in Tishchenko who is 6'5. Southpaw Tishchenko focusing on the jab and some sneaky 1, 2 combinations in his opening round as a professional. Ocando throwing a lot of shots to the body and he received a minor warning after throwing some shots which are definitely a way too low. Tishchenko rocked Ocampo with a big left hook in the second half of the round. Tishchenko is not only too big he is also too fast, moving around Ocando and attacking from different angles. He is looking very sharp, i think he wasn't hit to his face at all in the first round. Ocando receiving another warning for low blows in the last minute of the round. Tishchenko landing another two or three good left hand while moving backwards, Ocando is finding absolutely no way to hit Tishchenko, moving some hands to the body is the only way so far he can connect.

Tishchenko starting more aggressive into the second round, the feeling in is over, he attacks Ocando with a load of shots and pressuring him towards the ropes, rocking him with some heavy shots, Ocando rocked by a right hook and nearly losing his balance. Tishchenko throwing very accurate shots so far, looks really good, if he throws he lands most of his shots. He looks fantastic as he is moving around his opponent attacking from very different angles and Ocando doesn't even see those shots coming. You can clearly see that Tishchenko wants those rounds, he has Ocando in the corner but is working more like he is in a sparring mode as he isn't going with full power on his opponent although Ocando has absolutely zero to offer here and isn't dangerous at all. Tishchenko rocks Ocando with another good three punch combination seconds before the bell rings.

Like in the second round Tishchenko starting very aggressive, pressuring Ocando into the corner and unloading some good series of shots although it looks a bit like he isn't throwing with full power as Ocando is eating those shots pretty easily at the beginning. A big straight left hand rocking Ocando in the second half of the round, another left hand connected clean, Ocando still looking okay.

Wow, this is a first class one-sided beatdown for Ocando who isn't looking too good at the end of the round, he looks gassed but also hurt by all those shots he ate in the last two rounds, he is throwing nothing anymore and focusing on his defense, movement and upper body movement but he is getting slower and slower. Tishchenko definitely going for the stoppage now, throwing a lot of power punches and mixing things up, 1,2 combinations, hooks, uppercuts, body shots.

The same as in the last two rounds, Tishchenko hammering Ocando and unloading tons of heavy shots, his accuracy is a bit gone as he is throwing some shots to the air and some to the gloves of Ocando but overall Ocando is still eating a lot of heavy shots out there. In the last minute Tishchenko has Ocando at the corner of the ring, he is throwing a lot but Ocando still there, after a series of shots and Ocando moving out of the corner the ref is stopping the fight. If you ask me this was a bit too early as Ocando wasn't down in the whole fight and still looked okay but on the other side it was a one-sided beatdown and maybe it was the right decision to save Ocando from further punishment.

Overall a very solid debut fight for Tishchenko who is looking fast and sharp. Although it was a total mismatch he definitely needs to improve his power, Ocando was eating those heavy shots easily and wasn't even close to get knocked down. Also Tishchenko was a bit too open from time to time but he wasn't in danger so no big deal. He will need definitely some fights to adapt to the pro circuit.

As it looks competitive in the first half of the first round Rakhimov drops Castellanos with a huge 1,2 and left uppercut combination.

Round 2: Rakhimov wins by TKO

Rakhimov drops Castellanos with a big left hand for the second time, Castellanos looking hurt but coming back. Rakhimov dropping him with a left hook to the body for the third time. Castellanos tough as nails trying to continue but another body shot finishes Castellanos and the ref is stopping the fight.
