Barrett's done nothing to deserve it

Got soundly beaten by Rakhimov just two fights ago. You don't then get a title shot against the guy who beat Rakhimov just because you beat up a guy from a weigh class below you coming in on three weeks notice

 

I don't want to watch a fight between Cordina and Barrett.

Eddie Hearn needs to find an opponent that Cordina can look good against. Preferably a big name that is on the slide.

Either 1 of them or a voluntary defence gainst the IBF interim holder is Fonseca.

 

The Cordina v Rakhimov fight was terrific. Really enjoyed it.

Cordina's balance and shot selection is superb to watch and Rakhimov is terminator like in his relentlessness.

When Cordina showed from the 2nd round onwards that he was going to sit in the pocket and trade with Rakhimov I thought it was a big mistake that would bite him in the arse but if anything he showed another string to his bow.

**** knows what on earth the judge who scored it to Rakhimov by 5 rounds was watching.... absolutely clueless.

The right man had his hand raised in a close competitive entertaining fight.

Cordina seemingly has the world at his feet now. World champion who's put forward both explosive knockouts and 12 round crackers in his last few fights with unification bouts on the horizon.

He has the makings to be a star.

 

He has done it without the hype of other olympians as well. Great fight.
