So was Clottey a bringing fans to the table, or did he get the fight simply because he was a Arum fighter??

 

the 2nd one. Arum fighter, top WW, quality fighter, easy to negotiate with, could get the fight made quickly for March13th

 

I would really like to see Pac fight at 140 again against top quality fighters like Bradley and Alexander. Especially Alexander that guys hand speed is incredible.

He has one fight at 140 which was vs Hatton then he fought at WW vs guys who had to cut lots of weight to make that weight while he was able to train 6yrs a day without having to worry about weight issues. Him fighting young hungry up and coming guys like Bradley and Alexander and beating them show show a lot to me personally.

But Pac may need money right now after his election so he is going to need big money fights and those guys don't have that name yet. Though fighting and beating Pac would def give them that name.

Arum is just greedy

 

Clottey just came off a split decision loss to Cotto and was supposed to be a big puncher. Not a bad test for a guy 'easing' into WW and a last minute replacement for Floyd.

 

Not to many people heard of Clottey either.
