Well, Khan changed his mind about being involved in any such of lousy tournament. Khan has his sites set on the dangerous Joel Casamayor and thats what he needs to concern himself about.
Why don't you see who Bradley's set his sights on? The guys left the 140 division for 'bigger fights'. The guy was scared of Alexander and you don't have anything to say about that.
Then I'm sure we should be hearing some sort of rebuttal from Team Khan anytime now if Shaw is lying. No way they would just not respond to such a statement if it is untrue.
Khan doesn't care? He'll get into a war of words with John Murray, but won't care if Shaw calls his manhood into question? More than likely, Shaw is telling the truth about GBP shooting down the idea. Schaefer says he wants Khan to fight Marquez or Casamayor next. It seems they have a plan for Khan which doesn't include Alexander or Bradley at this time. But who knows for sure? Maybe Shaw fabricated this entire story and banked on GBP or Khan not calling him out as a liar. Anything is possible.
khan always says one thing then does another he is a joke i cant wait for the **** to get knocked out again
Exactly. Odds are, Shaw is just talking **** to hype up his fighter, Timothy Bradley. People shouldn't be so naive as to gobble up every negative word that a promoter says about a boxer from a rival promoter.
Does Shaw think Freddy Roach is an idiot, of course he won't let his guy fight Alexander and get starched.
These light-welterweights keep coming up with excuses not to fight each other, if they really wanted to they would have by now. Maidana Khan Ortiz Alexander Bradley Shocking to think only one match up has happened between these fighters. Khan vs. Ortiz is a great match-up, there really is no way back for the loser.
Who the **** else is he supposed to fight? None of the other top guys want to get in the ring with him.
I trust Gary Shaw as far as I can throw his fat ass....which is about 250 feet after I've had my daily dose of A-side Meth. He's doing a bang up job of deflecting the issue into Khan being the coward and the scapegoat, though, because alot of people are buying it. His "names in a hat" gig, while actually not a bad concept in and of itself, completely disregards how much Alexander was calling out Bradley specifically. And now they're paining Khan as the coward because they claim he didn't want to fight Alexander? That's pretty good change of direction skills for a sperm whale. It's "ducking" when Khan says he wants to wait, and "business" when Bradley does the same thing. That's a double standard if I've ever seen one. Well, guess what Gary. You don't seem too keen on wanting to make Bradley-Alexander, and trying to make the case that Khan doesn't want to fight Devon doesn't mean jack **** if you don't trust putting Bradley in the ring against Alexander yourself.
