Two good cruiserweight prospects. Great matchup on ESPN2. Hawk could throw an upset win. He has huge knockout power and fast hands.

Godfrey has a big advantage as far as experience vs decent opposition, but I can't pick a winner since I've never seen Hawk fight. Should be interesting though.

I actually like the other cruiserweight fight on the card better, Shaun George vs. Chris Henry.

I'm interested to finally see Hawk though. I remember he got some hype when he first signed, since he's Native American, but all of that quieted down pretty quickly when he earned a draw against a nobody.

Being from Washington, i've seen Hawk fight live twice. Once on a FNF's undercard where they had him in with some fat kid he dominated. And then on the RJJ undercard in Boise. Both times they had him in with stiffs so i've wanted to see how he'd fair against someone with a pulse. I jsut wish he would have been busier the last few years to develop.

inst the godfrey fight a title eliminator? , i wisch him luck.. but after he pulled out from adamek fight (so we re waiting now for that horrible mismatch) ,he lost much in my eyes

as i ve seen him saying hes the best cruiser in da wordl just needs an opportunity to prove it , then when he gets one , he withdraws without any serious justification

Hawk is 24 or 25 years old and has had 18 fights so he is on schedule but I wonder why young boxers don't fight more frequently. Tyson used to fight once per month when he was coming up.

Good looking fight and a good doubleheader overall. I don't know much about Hawk but Godfrey isn't bad at all. I'm looking foward to the George-Henry fight more. Good card and I'd take George and Godfrey to win.
