Porter at this point is like Al Bundy going on about scoring 4 touchdowns in one game in high school

I thought you had to mention Kevin Baacon in order for the theory to be valid. I remember that's how it used to be played.

I think Porter must have been a massive cutter and probably roider. It's well known a lot of Muricans get 'performance assistance' even in high school.

Why was he fighting Paulie at 147, years after fighting at MW as a teen? How does that happen? I remember that fight, how much bigger Porter looked, quite ridiculous.

Notice how Usyk actually went up in weight as he got older and became a full-grown man instead of miraculously get smaller in weight class, despite getting far bigger.

The ring was really small. Usyk would have won 120-108 in 20x20ft.

Should Usyk be victorious against Fury will he duck the returning KB who defeated his conqueror? Size doesn't matter.

Shawn "The Sean" Porter began boxing in 1998. Seventeen years after he was born. Usyk began boxing in 1988. Eleventeen years prior to his own birth. By the time Porter fought Usyk in the amateurs, he had already learned the five-finger funk punch and deployed it to Usyk's collarbone in the very unusual amateur stare down for the Cinemax channel. Usyk went into that fight with a funk'd collarbone. Some medical experts insisted that this was actually "the clavicle" or "clavicular follicyle." This handicapped an old Usyk (old for the amateurs, having competed years before his own birth) and therefore the fresher Porter was able to force a decision victory, by unofficial newspaper decision. Listen, this stuff goes back to before things were all sanctioned and official and I do not put much stock in them anyway. The referee served as the singular and sole judge and it was none other than the former American fighter known as Old Samson Gym Painter Boy Johnson-former bantamweight lineal champion. Any road, regardless, Porter is going to have his feelings. I'll have mine, Usyk will have his. I just hate to see it. I only like seeing my own feelings.

Usyk was just a skinny 19 year old kid with only 4 years of boxing, loads of amateurs would have beaten him back then. It's like former school bullies bragging that they beat up Lennox Lewis in primary school.

This. Thw fight was prolly one of the many screw cases in amateur boxing. Just seeing it that close i can call it at bwst questionable having in mind it was in the USA. Also this was 75kg fight, Usyk at that time was already competing at 81kg. This fight was in 2006, and Usyk started competing in amateur in 2005.
From 2008 onwards in the amateurs Usyk barely lost a fight which is insane.
