Shawn Porter Ducked Terence Crawford—Rejects $2 Million Dollar Offer...

Ok so I'm keen to see what all the people saying Crawford was ducking Porter say now

Porter, honestly for all his grit and ruggedness imo brings very little to the table and is a risk

He probably knows another loss would really set him back and believes for that loss a huge compensation package is required

His division is not the hottest either regardless of talent that's always going to be the big boys

 

Porter has all the leverage and he knows it. Porter doesn’t need Crawford and can make $2 million elsewhere while Crawford badly needs a credible opponent. Porter’s also ranked #1 in the WBC and #2 with the IBF, so he doesn’t need Crawford to get a titleshot or make over $2 million.

The fact that Arum and Crawford even upped their original offer shows how desperately Crawford needs a credible opponent like Porter. It’s most likely going to take $4 or $5 million for Crawford to get a Shawn Porter or Mikey Garcia level opponent.

 

Crawford’s own trainer/manager said Bob was lowballing Porter but I feel Porter and Bud are being a total divas IMO.. I’m all for the whole top 10 retiring or moving up to 154, which a lot of them are scared to do right now, as early as tomorrow.

Does Porter forget the fact that he’s come up short in his big fights? He is acting like he beat Spence, Thurman and Brook. He’s a decent fighter who comes up short in big fights. Two million is generous during the pandemic. Looks like he’s afraid of another big loss. Should be used to it by now.
