Bud looked vulnerable against Porter, I feel Ortiz is better than Spence, could Ortiz beat Bud if he gets past Ennis?

I like Ortiz i really do, i think he has alot of potential, but hes a prospect more so than a contender in my view. KAVA dropped him on his ass and had him hurt, Spence is a whole different level of Skill and experience that Ortiz has never faced yet. Can he win? Maybe but he would have to be as precocious a fighter as ive ever seen to pull it off. I just dont think he can.

he wasnt hurt. he caught a good one that froze him for a second, then responded like a pissed off guy, not a hurt guy.

I hear you, but i just dont think hes ready for spence. Id take a few more fights to get ready for that type of smoke. Facing the elite of the division is something different. I dont think hes ready at this moment.

Kavaliauskas didn't drop him, that's how good his chin is. He was hurt, then absorbed several more heavy shots and never went down. You're misremembering, he threw himself off balance and fell down, but it wasn't from a punch. As far as counter punching goes, and sharp accurate punches go, personally I think Kava has the edge early in fights on Spence even. Which is what gave Ortiz troubles. Spence isn't a KO artist, he's an accumulation puncher. I think a fight with Ortiz would go similar to his match with Brook, only it'll be Spence soak up the damage to the body and broken down late. And remember, against big punchers, Spence tends to be cautious.

You make good points bro, but i just dont see it. Ortiz if given the oppurtunity may prove me wrong but i just think Spence is too much right now. Now Against Crawford thats a different story.

depends on how you would want to handle his career. if i wanted to protect his 0, then i would build him up more. if i wanted him to learn elite fighting, i pit him now. take the loss if it happens, and build him better with the new experience.

I agree with that, but ive seen young fighters like Fernando Vargas who had natural talent and skills go into a fight with Trinidad maybe a fight or 2 early, and he was never the same after that fight. Id like to see Ortiz fight Ennis first before stepping foot to the elite level.

Have more faith in him, he's worth it. You know I have a good nose. There's guys I like and guys I hype the **** out of. Most of the ones I hype the **** out of, they end up being next level, or damn close. Ortiz impressed the hell out of me from the first time I saw him. He's a hard man, no one could take that many clean shots while hurt from a nasty puncher like The Mean Machine without going down, it only took one to drop Bud, and he didn't even hit him flush. Vergil is a ****ing beast.:deal:
