The thing is Cotto didn't need a catchweight at all. Geale wasn't in his class (neither was Martinez). Here, Broner NEEDS the catchweight because Porter is the better fighter.

Very much an improved Cotto under Roach. And yeah, this version of Cotto beats any version of Martinez.
