Shawn Porter is going to wreck Berto

When Berto gets pressured he gets hit too easy, that is my prediction

He's not as fresh as Broner was,

 

Hes still making million dollar pay day's no reason to stop just yet

 

Its a great fight l lean towards porter but i get the feeling porter might get dragged into a dog fight with berto that might play against him.

This should be an entertaining one and Berto will have his moments but will be ground down by Porter.

 

I could see this happening as well with it being most likely early on and if Berto gets some early momentum, he'll be harder to deal with throughout. However, what I expect is alot of grappling interspersed between bull rushes and sharp exchanges with Porter getting the better of it increasingly as the fight goes on. Porter wins by clear decision, but stranger things have happened than Berto by stoppage.

That's what I expected but left berto with many opportunities to land uppercuts on porter rushing in head down and chin begging to be clipped. Seeing how badly a very fatigued broner hurt porter anything's possible.

If porter fought broner 5 more x he loses 3 maybe even 4 of them. I didn't get to see last night, was berto completely finished or was there life in that very very old body. 30 going on 46.

There should had been plenty of openings for berto to land big shots, and how bad was the beating that resulted in the stoppage ? Berto always comes to fight and if he was healthy, in shape and not totally shot he surely should had been able to steal and even win a few rounds.

 

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Anyway, I thought Porter looked good. He used the jab more (or maybe just more effectively?) than I've seen before. He started out boxing and then started bullying Berto on the inside. Just bull rushing and shouldering him around like a rag doll. Keeping him in the corner and on the ropes. Pushing him back to gain the correct distance and then punching him and then shoulder to the chest. Elbows, forearms, headbutts (both men participated and it was like not shying away from contact more than targeted butting a-la Ortiz at Mayweather and Porter got the worst of that I think), pushing , grappling and throwing him around, Porter just beat the snot out of him. Berto did indeed land some uppercuts, but very few of them even seemed to register. To me, he didn't look bad in terms of being in shape (he was all cut up and muscley like he usually does), but after the 3rd or 4th round, Berto was just getting completely bulldozed. I don't think he's the same guy that fought Ortiz. Even so, Broner wants none of Porter. He should fight Berto.
