Almost exact in fighting style and even looks kind of like him hopefully he doesn't juice like him lol but yea kid has potential to be good I just don't see great in him yet though would love to see him matched up against one time somewhere in the near future
Old washed up??? The same Mosley who came off the biggest win of his career against margarito?and was ranked #3 welterweight at the time hmm ??yea think about it,maybe it wasn't the young Mosley we were used to but he was still dangerous at the time of the fight and yes he does have the same jittery hands as Shane
The fact that you are comparing him to one of the best is a compliment. Shawn does show a little similarity, but I wouldnt call him a poor mans shane. Hell, watch his fights before Alexander...Different style. The Alexander fight just showed that he has a smart corner and he is able to adapt to different styles. Fantastic attribute
Good post I'll have to see some more from him I've only watched him fight twice but from what I've seen the only thing I can think of is sugar Shane
at least he wasnt put to sleep by a more washed up way smaller and way less poweful, so obviously floyd has a FAR superior chin to paq, we finally agree on something
mike tyson was knocked down by buster so buster has a better chin ahahah stupid fool it was a freak shot anyone can be knocked out with a shot like that
Why do you have to compare the two? Just appreciate them both as good fighters. One was elite, sure. But Porter is fresh and hungry. He is a contender.
I don't know exactly if I would call Shawn Porter a poor man's Shane Mosley but I'll say this much before the kid gets a strong chance to develop into something special and becomes real good Amir Khan should use him as a strong foe to compete against for a Floyd Mayweather fight in September 2014 if Khan gets past over by Mayweather for Marcos Maidana in May!
Pac was hit with that punch many times throughout their 4 fights. I don't think it is accurate to call that a "freak shot." It was a well timed punch by a very accurate puncher who landed it on the button. That wasn't a tough man competition you were watching, jmm and pac are two of the best of this generation. The success that both of them had during the 4 fights was not by accident.
What about when pac knocked down jmm 3 times in the first fight? Was that just because jmm wasn't warm yet and that could have happened to anybody? Or is it more likely Pac overwhelmed jmm with fast punches from angles he didn't expect.
