Yeah I agree cause I enjoyed Bertos last fight where he got up off the deck,wanna see if Porter can stop smothering his own work

Well, you could very easily argue that he should have beaten Thurman. I think he can beat Garcia. We don't know enough about Spence- that would be a fight I would love to see, Bradley is a solid fight, it would be nice to see how Pacquiao would hold up to this type of pressure in this stage of his career, Vargas I think is a winnable matchup for Porter. You also have a Brook rematch. I think the outcome would be about the same there since I haven't really seen a lot of adjusts from Porter, but for the other ones those are by no means forgone conclusions and they all big matches. Porter isn't a guy I write off at all and I think he can beat anyone at 147 on the right day.

 

Yeah for sure and if all boxers had Porters heart and willingness to fight all comers then boxing would be in a better place

 

Yeah honestly I feel like the guys at WW have the most heart in boxing when it comes to fighting anyone. Thurman really surprised me trying to make the Porter fight happen because that is a stylistic nightmare for him in my eyes. Only thing worse I can think of in that division is MAYBE Spence but we don't know enough about him, he has leaky defense but that could be a result of him being up against guys that can't hurt him anyway, and he may not have the best chin so it may be easier for someone with Thurman's power to deal with Spence than to deal with Porter. That's another set of matches I need to see, but I think we're going to get them soon.

 

Porter comes forward like Ortiz could be a very fun fight

I like the fight but would rather Porter in vs a more relevant guy

 

Porter wins, actually I think he's quite underrated. Was a very close fight against Thurman.

 

safe pick is porter. i wanna find some reason why berto can make it a fight but idk. porter most likely will bulldoze his way through berto. i hope berto proves me wrong. can berto box n move? can he keep a good distance. i dont think he wants to slug it out with porter which porter is willing to do because berto chin is kinda suspect. berto can be roughed up look how guerrero beat him porter may take similiar approach and porter gonna bring more power n force. berto better be ready because porter is trying to make this violent

Porter should roll right through Berto. I think Shawn is the darkhorse in the division, and a dominant win could set himself up for the winner of Brook vs Spence or Thurman vs Garcia. Regardless, he should be thrusted right back into a title fight and deservedly so.

 

Great fight Berto ia a live underdog his upper the best in boxing watch out.

 

Berto almost always makes it a fun watch. Porter should handle him, definitely picking him to win, but don't be surprised if Berto lasts the distance and wins a few clear rounds. You've got to imagine he will know that Porter will be in his grill all fight.

 

Excluding the possibility of a sadistic referee, I think Porter gets the stoppage. Berto will make him earn it though and it will be a fight - a fight in which he gets walked down and touched up A LOT until the man in the middle does his job and calls a halt.
