I enjoyed it...but once Porter got rolling there was a certain sameness to each round.

Didn't get to see the fights. Will have to check out Jack vs. Periban...

So is it safe to say that Porter, Jack, and Periban all come out in the plus after this card?

Jack and Periban both received various raves from people, and also received various criticisms. So for them to fight even with each other seems like a win-win for them, yeah?

And obviously Porter needed to outperform his first attempt against Diaz. Funny though how no one mentioned how this makes Khan look... even worse somehow.

Porter is basically a very poor man's version of Shane Mosley. He is very tough, physically strong, good stamina, good workrate, and has pretty fast hands, but little power, not the best strategically, and no defense. Pretty much a fringe world class guy. I don't think it really factors much on Khan, his punch resistance and defense is so shoddy at this point that anyone with the willingness to try and counter him during his flurries has a good chance of hurting him. Diaz isn't any great shakes, but he's decent, and he has that willingness.
