Porter is caught with a stiff jab while overreaching with his. Diaz is leading with the right hand and turning in his shoulder to brace against Porter's charges inside. 1-2 by Porter. Diaz is blocking on his right glove and hopping back to get space as Porter comes running in low. Overhand rights by Porter, missing. Diaz is held while leaning. Hard right hand by Porter chasing Diaz to the ropes.

Porter is diving in through and hitting the body with swiveling hooks. Diaz is putting together nice body shots in combination. Porter slaps up with a left hook to the cheek. Clinch. Diaz flicks out the jab and then ducks and hooks the body when Porter leaps into him. Diaz lands a nice left hook as Porter opened up wide flurrying high. Jab, right, left uppercut by Porter, all grazing or missing. Clinch.

Porter is flicking the jab up into Diaz's chin, doubled up and followed by wide rights. Diaz is walking forward, shy offensively. Drawbridge jabs from Diaz, but he is quick to cover back up when Porter flurries. Lots of flashes of speed from Porter, but very messy placement.

Porter is throwing flurries into the face of Diaz as the veteran leans forward and hooks the body. Long volleys by Porter. Double left hook to body and chin by Porter. Diaz is unable to get the jab going on the outside. The referee says that Porter was cut by an incidental headbutt. The doctor says he is OK. Diaz too. Time in. Porter is leaning back, making Diaz miss a hook, countering with the jab. Body shots by Porter, grunting and exhaling through his teeth. Diaz is slapping at the body on the inside.

Diaz is warned for hitting behind the head on the inside. Porter jumps around Diaz with a spray of hooks, grabbing in between as Diaz steps close and thrusts out slow jabs. Lead right to the body by Diaz diving in. Porter steps aside and throws a combination to the body. Diaz is banged with a left hook on the chest. Right uppercut to the gut from a deep crouch by Porter. Diaz paws the jab and ducks a flurry, then hooks the body. Clinch. Broken. Right hand to the body, left hook and right hand follow-up hitting Diaz on the arm. Diaz ties up.
