Shawn Porter vs Keith Thurman II

I guess the loser is gonna fight Danny again. What is this madness, they playing keep away with Spence. Now Mikey done threw three names of potential fights for him. He playing the shell game. They might as well make the Crawford and Spence fight happen because it seems that they are the only ones willing to fight each other for real.

 

Exactly! that's exactly what I would be doing....buying an apartment building after every big fight I had. That's what these boxers should be doing.

 

I get how this fight is a big deal if it goes off but nothing about it excites me. Thurman...just stay away. What a dumb career arc. N porter...I don't know, he is by far the sloppiest fighter I've ever seen to compete at this level. I respect his sheer tenacity but whatever

 

A lot of the current prestige of the division is on these guys shoulders n thurman is just a brittle guy who fights with a ridiculous gimmick of a style. It took one intense fight with Chavez to make him totally change up his game. Weak. Watching him is not like watching mayweather or any other slick counter puncher who can move. It's like watching a guy who found a gimmick that works and is running with it. In every fight. N porter is the opposite. No gimmick, no style, no plan...just rush, throw goofy shots n keep his head in your face.

 

Thurman has such long periods of inactivity in between fights. It's going to cost him at some point... If this happens I'm going with Porter for that reason. First fight was very close anyways.

 

It's what Fernando Vargas did. And now he can basically do what ever the heck he wants when ever the heck he wants to...

 

Thurman and Porter are both mediocre fighters who are both scared to fight Spence.

 

How the hell has Thurman not been stripped yet anyway? He's not fought for 18 months!!

 

porter beats the crap outta keith today, keith knows that, hes just trying to salvage what little is left of his name. no chance thurman fights a man with a belt for at least a year.
