    Superb match up. Possibly the best fight at 147 that doesn't involve Kell Brook. I have a feeling that Porter can decision Thurman in a close fight. I doubt Thurman can keep him in distance, so unless he knocks Porter out (which I find unlikely), there will be a lot of brawls where Porter will look like the better guy with his ridiculous work rate.

    I really like this fight. Definitely on my shortlist for most wanted fights. A real 50-50 fight that also has action written all over it.

    Showtime is going to be on a really strong 3 week run here.
    11-28 DeGale-Bute tripleheader with Beterbiev and Chillemba-Alvarez
    12-5 Jacobs-Quillen
    12-12 Thurman-Porter

    Strong finish for Showtime after being almost worthless most of this year.

    Agreed. Porter is strong, but sloppy and very predictable.

    Porter is a beast, but he's too reckless and doesn't do so well when he can't overpower you. Good fight either way.

    I think Thurman will catch Porter lunging in with some counters. Thurman by Decision with some knock downs or by KO.

    I really like both fighters.

    This is a PBC fight I can get behind. Not too many of those around.
