I'm glad this can all be a bit of fun. Too many sensitive types round here lately. 2 months is fine. I certainly hope that I'm right and you're wrong, lol.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlMWvbfys7A Paulie talks about it here from 4.15. Says he was suprised by Porter's punching power as his record suggest he was feather fisted. Reading between the lines you can tell Paulie is extremely suspicious.
Kell jabs his face off all night, but gets done over by some 'home cooking' judging in NYC. Porter UD/SD
I think the long long road brooks had will leave him stale and frustrated. On the other hand he's getting porter relatively early and he's not had the chance to develop into a better fighter at world level. I'd probably go for a decision to porter though. I really hope brook does it and I'm sure he'll put up and very good fight.
Im more impressed with the alexander fight than The Paulie win but hey ho that's still a better win than anything that Brook has done by a long long way. Porter is a real athlete and he we come at Brook with aggression speed and power Brook has 0 head movement and was given problems by B level Carson Jones who was willing to take a punch to deliver his own. I can actually see this being a fun fight but I cant see a Brook win he just hasn't been tested enough.
Brook doesn't seem to have the best chin and he folds under pressure. Porter will swarm him and once that chin gets checked it's over from there. Now, I'm not one to hype a fighter, but Porter seems to be pretty good. He's athletic, feints well, bounces in and out with attacks, and can bring it for 12 rounds. People seem to forget he blasted out Devon, who, himself is a very good boxer. Even in saying this, I think Brook may be the harder puncher going in, I think Porter's power might actually be overestimated a bit on here, as he hadn't gotten a KO in like 7 fights or so before his latest, and because of the way he blasted out Paulie, who, in my opinion belongs at 140 anyway. From what I've seen from Brook, he gets chin checked quite often, and while he does seem to have quick hands, and good quick footwork, his head movement isn't there, and he seems to box like he believes his power will bail him out at times, which leads to him getting hurt quite often in fights. Also, he has far less experience in an ironically longer career. I voted Porter by KO/TKO, I just don't think Brook can take the kind of punishment Devon did, and go 12 rounds, and I don' think he boxes better than Devon, although I do believe Brook has the power and the skill to counter and stop Porter because he is quite fast himself and has good footwork.
Alexander isn't a good fighter, Khan would've done the same job before Garcia and even post Garica Amir. His KO against Paulie was impressive, but still is better than anything Brook have faced, therefore Porter is the favorite, i'd say like 60-65 in Porter's favor.
Seems the majority is going with porter and jumping on the bandwagon, and most likely have not seen a lot of Kel. Or they have just seen the destriction of PM, and think hes a monster. Well for me the Jury is out until he soundly beats Kel......... Ive seen a LOT of Brook, and Skill wise hes actually better than most give credit for, and also has very dencent power, punch selection, and timing. If he catches Porter early with a few decent shots he will stop the swarming style of Porter and make him think before rushing in. I really am not sure who will win as like i said i havent seen enough of Porter to make a judgement, but i really wouldnt write Kel off too soon. For me this is a very interseting fight.
