Reason I said 144 is because Porter fought a catch weight against Broner of 144lbs so we know he can make that weight, anyway who wins this matchup at all weights? I think Porter would have to box and move regardless of the weight.

Interesting matchup, but I hate watching Porter fight.

ruslan got outboxed by john molina, porter would look like mayweather in there.

Huh? Porter doesn't box. He bum rushes and clinches and holds and punches.

Was never a fan of Porter dropping down to 147, since he always looked dehydrated under 154 lbs. Against mediocre competition it didn’t matter, but whenever he fought the best at 147 he could never maintain a good work rate throughout the fight.

That said Porter would most likely take a loss at 144 lbs, since he looked very sluggish and weak against Broner, but pretty much won by default because Broner barely threw any punches. Provodnikov would be throwing punches all fight and I think his work rate and Porter shaving even more weight would hurt Porter in the later rounds.

At the full 147 Porter most likely would be more accurate and be able to do enough to earn the decision over Provodnikov.
