Is there a worse boxing contender in the world than this midget??every fight is the same... rush in from 3 yards away ,windmilling,headbutting,forearms,elbows ...clinch it is awful ,i would never pay a $ to watch one of his stinking fights....
Thought his first fight with Thurman was excellent. Depends what style of fighting you're into. Porter is all action, in your face, rough you up kind of fighter but that style will imo always come unstuck against a fighter with great feet who can counter then move out of trouble. Would be boring if everyone fought the same way.
There is a reason why Thurman isn't interested in a rematch with Porter. Not that he is afraid but that style porter has is horrible to fight against and Thurman hasn't got the ability to keep porter away for 12 rounds. Keith doesn't want to go through that all again. Interested to see who porter fights next. Khan wouldn't go anywhere near him.
I agree Porter has an awful style. The reason why his fight with Thurman was entertaining is because One Time is a G and wanted to outfight Porter rather than tie him up. Porter's style is totally horrific to watch and any elite slick boxer easily out points him. If Broner actually moved a little during his fights and increased his punch output he'd have also beaten him.
It was the sole reason he performed sloppy and all wreckless. C'mon man stop trolling you know it's true.
Porter is a very good fighter and I enjoy his style. Watch Porters feet when he cuts off the ring, he has excellent footspeed and footwork.
WTF are you banging on about ? Thurman had far more trouble with Porter than Brook did, and Thurman is considered THE man at the weight. Yet you try to make a comparison between Porter and Spense, that you think will determine the outcome of the Brook vs Spense fight ? One is a come forward, relentless pressure fighter with decent pop and a great engine. The other an up and comer with decent skills and heavy hands, but completely unproven at elite level, and huge question marks regarding his stamina and chin. Hilarious.
