Porter is actually a very smart clever "boxer" the way he cuts off the ring comes in with angles and that blistering hand speed, great chin and stamina and very respectable power make for an all action fighter boxer. He is also the most awesomely built welterweight ever. Looks like a bodybuilding powerhouse.............to suggest he is just a "lemme at him" kill or be killed brawler is BS. He is no mayorga.......Porter v Mayorga what a fight that would have been?

 

You are right unless Khan was guarenteed to be allowed to clinch Porter when ever he wanted , which wont happen.
Porter would smash the life out of Khan if the ref didn't let Khan clinch him Klitschko style

 

Porter really hurt Berto with a headbutt which ended the fight. I have never seen so many headbutts, referee should have taken some points away, not to mention the elbows, wrestling, low blows, etc., I don't like Porter's style at all, something has to be done about his headbutts, holding, wrestling, etc., he is a dirty fighter, no doubt about it..............

 

Khan has been at welter for 5 years. His highest ranked opponent Luis Collazo is ranked no.25. Khan goes nowhere near Porter.

Khan hasn't got the strength to hold Porter off:

 

Super strong but cannot throw a straight punch.

 

I’m hoping Danny Swift takes him out tonight- Porter is more of a grappler then boxer. This will more then likely be a bloody war, especially with Porters awful use of the head and Garcia’s delicate skin.

 

I love watching Porter. His work on the inside is brilliant. I’m staying up to watch his fight and I fancy him to get the decision against Garcia.

 

Good win for Porter. Welterweight is a great division. There was no need for Hearn to cash out Brook against GGG.
